形態特徵

• A glabrous shrub
• Leaves membranaceous, oblong-ovate, 5–16 cm long, 3–6.5 cm broad, acute to subrounded at base, crenulate-serrate along the margins, green above, paler beneath, the lateral veins 4–7 per side, inconspicuous above, slender and raised beneath; petioles about 1 cm long.
• Inflorescence supra-axillary, glabrous; flowers 5–6-fasciculate, pedicellate, tetramerous; calyx with lanceolate lobes about 3 mm long; ovary globose; about 1 mm long, the style 4-fid at apex.
• Fruit ellipsoid, about 7 mm thick; pedicels to 1 cm long.

分布

• 台灣 : southern to northern parts of the island.
